Abstract
- Presents a study investigating the importance of antioxidants during oxygenated liver preservation. Application of gaseous oxygen to livers of rats during the storage period via the caval vein; Enhancement of the viability of livers during cold preservation by oxygen persufflation in combination with amino acid taurine; Observation of an increase in hepatic bile production.
