Abstract
- The article discusses the study that analyzes abnormality patterns in 1651 specimens of anurans from Tucumán, Argentina, collected from 1940 to 2010, deposited in the Fundación Miguel Lillo collection, that found 4.4 percent overall abnormality prevalence for post-metamorphic individuals. The study revealed that most common abnormality types affected hindlimbs, and concerned reductions in number of phalanges. It showed tadpoles to have higher overall abnormality prevalence.
