Abstract

The article discusses the result of studies which examined the causes of maternal death. It analyzes the pathology of atonic bleeding and amniotic fluid embolism to determine ways to prevent maternal death. The findings reveal that fibrinogen level decreases earlier than antithrombin and platelet during atonic bleeding.
