Abstract

The article focuses on the psychotherapy Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT) formulated by Doctor Albert Ellis from Rational Emotive Therapy (RET). Topics discussed include the psychoanalytic and object-relational residency program of the Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse, New York in 1980, the views of cognitive therapies in rabbinical Judaism, and the relationalistic principle as the link which connects Judaism and REBT.
