Abstract
- The author reflects on Alex Kon's commentary on the case of Andrea, who was diagnosed with gender dysphoria. He presents several reasons to justify a physician's refusal to treat gender dysphoria. Also discussed are the ethical warrant of refusals involving physician's claim that the medications' risks are troubling, refusing to treat due to belief that it violates some aspect of moral integrity of the patient and moral repugnance.
