Abstract

The article discusses the study which investigates the significant connection between genetic variation at circadian clock gene (OtsClock1b) and run-time phenotype in Atlantic salmon. Topics discussed include microsatellites variability, genetic drift, and fish population. The study found that there is a significant connection between OtsClock1b variation and Atlantic salmon or Salmo salar L.
