Abstract
- The article describes the case of an 86-year-old patient who was diagnosed with acute promyelocytic leukemia (APL) and was treated with low dose arsenic trioxide and all-trans retinoic acid (ATRA). It relates the complete remission rate of APL in elderly patients. It discusses the ATO and ATRA administration and the side effects observed in the patient.
