Abstract
- The 1937 essay by economist Arthur I. Bloomfield about economist Thorstein Veblen written for the course entitled "Economics from an Institutional Standpoint" taught by Frank H. Knight, is presented. Topics include institutional economics, the Chicago School of Economics, the Darwinian aspects of Veblen's theories of economic evolution, and Veblen's notions on the Leisure Class.
