Abstract

The article offers information on research on imaging modality for investigating olfactory dysfunction in the setting of normal endoscopy. Olfactory dysfunction may divided into conductive and sensorineural and its examples of include sinonasal inflammatory disease and post-upper respiratory infections. Based on the studies and expert advice, the choice of imaging modality for evaluation of olfactory dysfunction patients, depends on the patient demographics and history.
