Gateway to East Asian Studies: An Analytical Report of Subject Guides in North American East Asian Libraries.

The article presents a study which looks at the topic of subject guides in East Asian studies among academic libraries in the U.S. The study investigates the library homepages and East Asian library/collection websites of 48 East Asian libraries identified by the Council on East Asian Libraries (CEAL). The study concludes that the subject guides were used in East Asian libraries/collections to promote the use of East Asian materials in electronic and print formats.
