Abstract: This section offers business news briefs. Defense Secretary Caspar Weinberger, known for being a very tough budget cutter as a Budget Director and Secretary of Health, Education and Welfare, might have lost his budget cutting skills as he took over the defense department. A total of 43,000 U.S. dollars was brought home by U.S. lawyers working in the country's major law firms in 1981. The Tax Court sided with Angela Grosso after the Internal Revenue Service asked her to pay her husband's taxes.
