The article presents the author's comment on the stocks that are traded on the U.S. stock exchanges as of March 31, 1980, with attention paid to the yield differential between stocks and bonds. Topics include credit controls, liquidation, and recommendations on stocks of petroleum companies Sun Oil and Marathon Oil. Particular focus is given to a previous recommendation concerning stock of health care facilities operator Hospital Corp. of America.
