A 27-year perspective on landscape ecology from the US-IALE annual meeting.

The author reflects on the secular perspectives on the landscape ecology research in the U.S. from the U.S. Chapter of the International Association of Landscape Ecology (US-IALE) annual meeting. The author states he and his colleagues classified every oral presentation from the abstract books prepared for each meeting. He adds that they categorized posters and talks according to 17 nonmutually exclusive categories which include climate change, fragmentation, and natural resource management.
