Abstract

The article presents the authors' opinions regarding political, social, and economic developments as of July 14, 1944. The impact of policies of the U.S. War Production Board on the country's industry is discussed. Problems related to the growing numbers of women employees and their supervision are examined. It is suggested that black markets in the United States during World War II should be eliminated.
