TRACEABILITY IN WOOD PRODUCTION.

Product traceability has become a requirement in the different domains; it allows full monitoring of products from their origin to the limit of their use. The wood industry is sure to need the traceability of their products but the means commonly used as bar-codes and RFID tags do not fit in certain stages of manufacture for the specific nature of the wood. The problematic is posed by management of a furniture manufacturing company who asked us to ensure the traceability of its products. We propose in this case software solution that tracks the product during the real-time production, after an analysis of production by the SADT method and establishes a database that includes all production elements [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
