Abstract
- The article reports that U.S. exports fell from 320 million U.S. dollars to 299 million dollars while imports dropped from 285 million U.S. dollars to 250 million U.S dollars in August 1930. According to the author, U.S. export trade during the first half of 1930 has been about 20 percent less compared to the first six months of 1929 while imports are 25 percent below the 1929 figure.
