Abstract
- The article discusses the trends in railroad stocks in the U.S. as of May 12, 1923. The outlook expects that the return on investment will reach more than 5.75 per cent as faster movement of trains, better terminal facilities, and larger loading and efficiency are achieved, and the Transportation Act of 1920 orders fair return on the capital invested. Among the railroads recommended for investment include Chicago Great Western, Chicago, Milwaukee & St. Paul, and Missouri Pacific.
