Abstract

The article provides information on Kudzu bugs and describes how it remains a costly concern for soybean farmers in Georgia. According to statistics from University of Georgia Entomologist Phillip Roberts, on the average, if left untreated, kudzu bug damage will result in a 20 percent yield loss for soybean farmers, and can reach as high as 60 percent. He warns soybean farmers in the state to be aware of the pest and the need for them to be scouting for it.
