Abstract
- The article presents a biography of John "Jack" Barnes Miller, founder and head of the hydro-electric utility company Southern California Edison Co., which has a capital of 150,000,000 dollars and employs 10,000 workers as of August 1923. The company uses hydro-electric power to supply roughly 310 cities and towns with electric power. It cites several individuals who partnered with Miller, namely, William R. Staats, Harry H. Sinclair and Henry Fisher.
