Abstract
- A literary criticism of the book "No Citizen Left Behind" by Meira Levinson is presented. It outlines the criticisms of several people who took part in the symposium on the book, organized by the Philosophy of Education Society's standing committee on race and ethnicity (CORE) including Michelle Moses, Sally Sayles-Hannon and Winston Thompson. It also examines Levinson's civic empowerment gap, social transformation and political economy.
