Abstract: The article cites a research study which examines the validity of four regression equations to estimate the peak oxygen consumption (VO<subscript>2</subscript>peak) from the 20-meters shuttle run test in adolescents aged 11-13 years. The study subjects were 115 adolescents who performed the 20-meters shuttle run test and an incremental progressive maximal test for direct VO<subscript>2</subscript>peak analysis.
