Abstract

Several neurological syndromes, including syncope, convulsions, amnesia, transient ischaemic attacks and cerebral infarction, have been associate with mitral valve prolapse. It has been presumed that emboli may account for some of these. We report a case of retinal infarction in association with mitral valve prolapse. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
