Abstract
- Henry George was the creator of a distinctive system of political economy which has a rich ethical and social foundation. George's conceptions of the nature of political economy, of value, and of wealth have important implications for the analysis of economic policy. The same is true of his contention that the laws of distribution, no less than those of production, are natural laws. His hope and optimism for a future of freedom and prosperity are as important as his approach to economic analysis. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
