Abstract
- The author offers an analysis of the U.S. stock market as of February 1955. He notes that the same people who wanted to sell Republic Steel and financial services company Western Union at 75 are eager to buy them at 85 and 90, respectively. He says that the value of aerospace and defense company General Dynamics has been rising rapidly, presumably as a result of the successful test runs of the Nautilus submarine.
