Michelle Bachelet of the opposition Nueva Mayoria coalition is projected to win in the 2013 presidential election. The Economist Intelligence Unit expects monetary policies of the Banco Central de Chile to limit price pressures and to keep inflation within the target range. Forecasts for the country's other economic indicators, including gross domestic product (GDP) and exports, are also presented.
