Abstract

Evaluates the effect of varying root hair parameters on phosphorus acquisition efficiency (PAE) in Arabidopsis. Effect of density and length on the differences in PAE; Extent of competition among root hairs when they were dense; Reason behind the coordinated regulation of the response of root hairs to low phosphorus availability.
