Creative Speech Technology: Editorial introduction to this special issue.

CreST is the Creative Speech Technology Network, a research network which brought together people from a wide variety of backgrounds spanning arts technology and beyond. The papers in this volume represent some of the outcomes of that collaboration. This editorial introduces the background of the network and each of the papers.
