Abstract
- The article profiles Gold Coast Titans professional rugby league player Jamal Idris in Australia. It notes the racism, abuse, and samurai sword attack that were experienced by Idris who grew up with a strong sense of family and in an Aboriginal mission. It also cites the effects of a congenital hip problem suffered by Idris and his interest in journalism and media as well as his plan to try coaching as well as media work upon his retirement.
