"Selling Rides"--Real Job of Transportation Engineer.

An interview with C. S. Sale, head of the motor division of the American Car & Foundry Co., is presented. He focuses on the a new vocation called the "Transportation Engineer" in response to the need for more logical transportation methods in moving goods and workers who are involved in mass production. He says that the job of the transportation engineer would be to figure out how a community shall be best and most economically served by identifying the types of vehicles required.
