Abstract
- The article examines the research paper titled "Death of a Theory," by Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis president James Bullard. A comparison on the use of fiscal policies and monetary policies as business cycle stabilization tools is outlined. The financial stress in the district of St. Louis, Missouri from January 2006 to January 2012 with emphasis on the period of recession in 2008-2009 is highlighted.
