Abstract
- The article presents a study that examines the effectiveness of psychosocial and psychological interventions in preventing postpartum depression (PPD). It discusses methodologies used in the study including randomized controlled trial. It concludes that interventions initiated postpartum lowered depressive symptoms at final study assessment when compared with usual care.
