A note on: A Replenishment Policy for items with Price-dependent Demand, time proportional Deterioration and No Storages.

Begum et al. (DOI: 10.1080/00207721.2010.543481) developed replenishment policy when demand rate is price-sensitive, deterioration rate follows three parameters, Weibull distribution and shortages are not allowed. In the paper it is observed that that the retailer's inventory stock is zero before the deterioration of units start. This article rectifies the model formulation. The remodel is validated with a numerical example and the sensitivity analysis of parameters is carried out. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
