Abstract

The article reports on Rob Dumer, a consumer who bought his 2010 Hyundai Santa Fe automobile for the five-year warranty. However, the car started losing power while accelerating after around six months. The Hyundai dealer told Rob that the damage would not be covered under warranty because manufacturing defect could not be detected. Hyundai Motor co. agreed to replace the engine under warranty.
