Shoulder Instability in Professional Football Players.

The article discusses a study which investigated how the method of treatment of pre-National Football League (NFL) shoulder instability affects the rate of recurrence and the time elapsed until recurrence. The researchers reviewed medical records from 1980 to 2008 for 1 NFL team. It was found that recurrent shoulder instability was more common in NFL players with a history of nonoperative treatment.
