Ukraine risk: Security risk.

The article offers a security risk assessment for Ukraine for 2013. It cites the relatively low security risk as there is no indigenous armed activity in the country. A law was passed by President Viktor Yanukovych in 2012 which raised the status of the Russian language in Ukraine. Particular focus is given to the increase in territorial tensions with Russia, as well as the instability in neighbouring Transdniestr.
