Abstract

In this article, the author discusses the landscape-scale patterns of the cyanobacterial toxin microcystin in Canadian lakes discovered by researchers through a regression tree model using the TREES module in the software SYSTAT 13. He mentions that the model helps to determine the relationship between microcystin concentrations, the concentration of total nitrogen (TN) to total phosphorus (TP) and the TN:TP ratio.
