Abstract

Due to the high temperature, low permeability and high water injection pressure in YAN 9 fault block reservoir in Huabei oilfield, the conventional polymer gel for profile control and flooding has some limitations in its application, so a study on reducing the solution viscosity of profile control and flooding agent of movable gel and increasing thermostability of gel is required, where amphion polymer is selected preferably through laboratory test to reduce the solution viscosity of profile control and flooding agent of movable gel, and the thermostability of gel is improved effectively by usage of cross linking agent JY-1 of water-soluble phenolic resin, added with thermal stabilizer WY. The gel is of stable performance after laboratory observation at high temperature for 90 d. The field test under the condition close to normal daily water injection volume and injection speed has been smoothly finished, with desirable stimulation effect of corresponding wells.
