Abstract
- The article features the economic and political performance and forecasts of China for 2013 to 2017. In June 2013, President Xi Jinping initiated a one-year campaign to clean the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) from all types of decadence. Meanwhile, it is forecasted that the country's real gross domestic product (GDP) will increase at an average of 7.1% from 2013 to 2017.
