Abstract

An algorithm or computer method is presented for determining carry-over factors, absolute stiff-nesses, and fixed-end moments for concrete mem-bers with variable cross sections. Input for the algorithm consists of the moment of inertia, length, uniform loading, and concentrated loading for each segment along the member. The output can be used in standard moment distribution methods or slope deflection methods of analysis of elastic frames, as well as input to matrix analysis pro-grams. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
