Abstract: The article discusses Ireland's political and economic conditions as of July 2013 and presents an outlook for 2013 to 2017. Polls show that support for coalition parties have declined but that the Fine Gael-Labour Party coalition government is likely to serve its full five-year term to 2016. Forecasts concerning economic growth, fiscal and monetary policy, international relations and exchange rates are also addressed.
