Abstract

The article presents a case study of a 56-year old woman, who used to be healthy, presented with one month history of a pruritic ulcerated rash in both lower extremities associated with dysuria and exertional shortness of breath. She denied any travel outside the U.S. or use of new medications prior to her admission to hospital. The article discusses hypereosinophilic syndrome which is defined by three diagnostic criteria and divided into six variants.
