North American Public Pension Fund Asset Allocation Study.

The article examines the asset allocation of U.S. public funds to hedge funds. A qualitative overview and an analysis of asset allocation, graph and trend are presented for public pensions with over one billion allocation to hedge funds, including Alaska Permanent Fund, Kentucky Retirement Systems and Texas Permanent School Fund. A qualitative overview and similar analysis are provided for public pension funds with less than one billion dollars allocated to hedge funds.
