Abstract

The article presents a study analyzing the amount of S-100 beta proteins in patients suffering from moderate or severe traumatic brain injury. It states that these proteins are associated with unfavorable prognosis after brain injury. According to the results of the study, these proteins causes mortality and brain stem death. It further mentions that sensitivity analysis was conducted during the study.
