Abstract
- The article presents a report on Pakistan's defence and security for the third quarter of 2013 including a five-year forecasts until 2017. It offers a strength, weakness, opportunity and threat (SWOT) analysis of the country's security, defence, politics, economy and business environment. Pakistan was disturbed early in 2013 by sectarian violence in Balochistan where hundreds of Hazara Shi'a Muslims were killed by bomb attacks from Sunni militants.
