Abstract
- The article focuses on the study that determines how closely conventional marks were being followed by radio announcers. It indicates that radio announcers do honor the conventional punctuation marks when they appear in the script. They also seem to have a tendency to pause at the ends of lines a little more than mere consistency with punctuation marks and meaning would indicate.
