Abstract

In this article, the author discusses the theatrical practices and drama in Italy in sixteenth centaury which was like a rigorously collective enterprise. She mentions a papermaker from Italy, Silvestro Cartaio who was expelled from an organization called the Congrega dei Rozzi for performing in a play without the consent of his fellow Rozzi.
