Abstract
- The article presents information about various events held as of March 1927 and upcoming events for the year. It informs about a dinner in honor of professor John B. Clarke of the Columbia University. The fifty-fourth annual meeting of the National Conference of Social Work will be held at Des Moines, Iowa, May 11-18, 1927. A Friedrich List Gesellschaft was organized recently in Germany, with offices at 121 Neckarstrasse, Stuttgart. Seven lectures were held at the University of Chicago in January and February to commemorate the sesquicentennial of the publication of The Wealth of Nations. A meeting of the Stable Money Association was held in New York, February 8, at which Professor John R. Commons spoke on "The Federal Reserve System and Price Stabilization." The publisher, Julius Springer, has issued a comprehensive catalogue of the publications of that house dealing with economic subjects. The British Library of Political and Economic Science has recently purchased a collection of many hundreds of letters, documents and manual scripts written by or to John Stuart Mill and Miss Helen Taylor, his step-daughter.
