The article details the integration of X4 PipeLine X-ray inspection systems from Loma Systems Inc. at St. Clair Foods Inc., food service providers for salads and entrees in the U.S. The X-ray inspection system was placed in line with its production lines to add an extra layer of protection and control the quality of incoming raw product. The system also capture product images which has reduced the number of contaminant instances in during the final stages of production.
