Abstract
- The rotational radius extracted via the available algorithms is modified by the angle between the rotational axis and the radar line of sight (LOS) in the monostatic radar. In this paper, the T/R-R bistatic radar is introduced to solve this problem. Firstly, the geometric relation between the bistatic radar and rotational target and the bistatic echo signals are modeled. Then the relation between mono- and bistatic micro-Doppler frequencies is derived and the micro-Doppler parameters are estimated separately via the Time Frequency Distribution and Hough Transform (TFD-HT). Combining with the estimated results and the bistatic geometry, the angle between the rotational axis and the radar LOS and the exact rotational radius is estimated. The theoretical analysis is validated by the simulation results finally. [ABSTRACT FROM PUBLISHER]
