Abstract
- This article presents information on new books related to labor and labor organization, as of December 1931, published in the journal "American Economic Review." One of the books discussed is "Dynamite: The Story of Class Violence in America," by L. Adamic. Adamic announces his working class sympathies at the outset, but he exposes crookedness and ruthlessness in the labor movement just as candidly as he does the massacres, frame-ups and judicial murders originating on the other side. Some other books enlisted are: Unemployment: A Discussion Outline," by H.S. Elliott; "Textile Unionism and the South," by G.S. Mitchell; "National Economic Councils: A List of References," by L.A. Thompson; and "National Childlabor Committee: Proceedings of the Twenty-Sixth Annual Conference Held in Minneapolis, Minnesota June 16, 1931
